Introducing PIE2F-LongHorizon
600+ hours of long-form computer use, organized for research on extended human workflows.
Today we’re releasing PIE2F-LongHorizon, an open research dataset built around more than 600 hours of extended computer-use sessions.
LongHorizon brings these sessions into a consistent research format, making long-form workflows easier to explore, navigate, and build on.
The dataset spans extended research and engineering work, including development, browsing, literature review, debugging, training monitoring, and movement between tools over the course of a session.
A session in LongHorizon can represent hours of continuous computer use. Its structure makes it easier to move through that history and work with meaningful parts of a session without treating the entire recording as one block.
LongHorizon is designed as a foundation for studying and building representations of long-form computer activity.
It is part of a broader effort at Parergon to understand how skilled human work unfolds over time.
We are already using it as a foundation for more structured visual datasets and models aimed at identifying meaningful events inside extremely long computer-use sessions.
A six-hour workflow can contain an enormous amount of visual information. Finding the parts that matter is one of the problems we are working on next.
